The goal of this course is to provide an understanding of how tobacco products impact your patients, and educate you on how to confidently guide your tobacco and nicotine using patients to quit their addiction.


Tobacco use impacts the oral and overall health of your patients. It is clear to everyone that we have a devastating smoking problem which is not going away any time soon. It is incumbent upon dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants to join with all healthcare professionals to combat this crisis. The goal of this course is to provide an understanding of how tobacco products impact your patients, and educate you on how to confidently guide your tobacco and nicotine using patients to quit their addiction.
